- Academic Search Complete is a multidisciplinary database that provides access to over 5,400 full-text periodicals, including more than 4,500 peer-reviewed journals. The database also indexes and abstracts an additional 9,300 journals.
- Access Science
- Access Science is the online version of the latest edition of the McGraw Hill Encyclopedia of Science and Technology. The database includes current news articles, scientific biographies, bibliographies, illustrations, and links to related web sites. [McGraw-Hill].

- AERA SIG Communication of Research

- American National Biography
- Provides portraits of over 17,000 deceased, notable Americans.
- American Physical Society
- Full-text access to scholarly, peer-reviewed e-journals in all areas of physics.
- Annals of American History
- Provides access to primary sources on American history from 1493 to the present. Included are speeches, historical accounts, memoirs, poems, images, and multimedia.
- Annual Reviews
- Authoritative, analytical reviews in 35 focused disciplines within Biomedical, Physical and Social Sciences; includes access to archives back to 1932.
- AnthroSource
- The American Anthropological Association provides access to current issues of 15 critcal peer reviewed publications. Titles available include American Anthropolgist, American Ethnologist, Anthropology and Education Quarterly, and Medical Anthropology Quarterly.
