- UALR and Ottenheimer Library recognize that
library users other than our students, faculty, and staff

- Electronic and other course reserve materials may be checked out or accessed electronically. Items are available electronically, for a 2-hour, overnight, 3-day, or 7-day check-out as determined by the professor.

- K–12 School Visit Policy
- The Ottenheimer Library welcomes visits from Arkansas schools to use our research databases and other materials. Guidelines for your visit are available.

- Collection Development
- The purpose of the policy is to guide the Collection Development Librarian
and others responsible for developing the collections in choosing books, serials,
electronic information resources, and other library materials for addition to the
collections. The policy assists in making not only routine purchase selections
but also approval plan profiles and gift acceptance decisions. The policy is
also intended to communicate the Library's selection policies to the University

- The Ottenheimer Library welcomes community users. All library users are expected to follow the Library Code of Conduct and the UALR Computing Services Acceptable Use Policy.

- Instruction Rooms
- The Library Instruction Rooms, on the first and fifth floors, are primarily for the educational
purposes of the Library. This includes teaching UALR students, faculty, and staff
about research methods, bibliographic tools, and library use. It also includes training
