The Library will accept most types of classroom materials: photocopies of exams, problem sets, hand-outs, overheads, and printed lecture notes.
Items are available for a 2-hour, overnight, 3-day, or 7-day check-out.
Multiple reserve items may be checked out simultaneously. These may not leave the library.
Reserve items may not be renewed.
Copyright for Electronic Documents
Access to electronic reserves is provided through the online catalog.
- The Library will provide links to journal articles accessible online through its subscriptions.
- The Library will obtain copyright permission for journals it does not own.
- Materials previously on reserve will not be reactivated without appropriate copyright permission.
- Excerpts totaling 25% or less of a book not owned by the Library may be placed on reserve.
- Faculty must supply hard copies or electronic files with a statement indicating ownership of the original hard copy.
- Students need to use their UALR ID number and PIN to access the electronic readings.
Copyright for Submitting Photographs
The Library retains the right to accept or reject submitted or requested photocopies in accordance with its interpretation of these guidelines and U.S. copyright law.
