This new e-only package from IOP Publishing includes full-text access to IOP content all the way back to 1874. Browse and/or search journals in the fields of physics, mathematics, engineering, chemistry and biology. The trial is from April 7, 2008 until May 31, 2008.
Compustat
Compustat is a Standard & Poor's database that contains financial statements and market summaries on North American companies. The trial period is from March 26, 2008 until April 26, 2008.
Points of View Reference Center
Points of View Reference Center™ is a full-text database designed to provide students with a series of essays that present multiple sides of a current issue. The database provides 200 topics, each with an overview (objective background/description), point (argument) and counterpoint (opposing argument). Topics covered include: affirmative action, cloning, DNA profiling, HIV/AIDS status disclosure, immigration, Iraq, Israel & the Palestinians, Katrina and FEMA response, nuclear proliferation, separation of church and state, standardized testing, stem cell research, tax cuts, voting machines, and many more. American Broadsides and Ephemera
Based on the American Antiquarian Society’s landmark collection of American broadsides and ephemera, this full-color digital edition offers fully searchable facsimile images of approximately 15,000 broadsides printed between 1820 and 1900 and 15,000 pieces of ephemera printed between 1760 and 1900. [Publisher] Readex. The trial is from February 1, 2008 until March 31, 2008.

International Economic Statistics
The database, from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, provides individual indicators (such as GDP and CPI) from nations around the world and links to the website for the specific source with the information. Included in each record is the title, corporate author, publisher, years covered in the data series, type of publication (text, table, chart), frequency with which the data is published, country of origin, a URL, available languages, subject headings, and any notes needed to clarify the data. The database is searchable by title, country, subject and keyword.
CRISP: Computer Retrieval of Information on Scientific Projects
CRISP is a searchable database of federally funded biomedical research projects conducted at universities, hospitals, and other research institutions. It allows access to information on scientific concepts, emerging trends and techniques, and identification of specific projects and investigators from files of seven federal agencies.
Marquis Who's Who
Who’s Who provides access to over 1.3 million biographical sketches of individuals from the United States and around the world. Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who of American Women, Who’s Who in American Politics, and Who’s Who in American History are 4 of the 21 titles included in this database. Updated daily.
More Group Study Space Added!
The Serial Set on the 2nd floor has been relocated to a more secure location behind the Access Services department on the 1st floor. Researchers needing access to this area should speak with the Reference Department.
Printing
If you don't know your T number you'd better look it up! Printing in the Library now requires the use of the UALR T number as a password. UALR T numbers can be found in BOSS at http://boss.ualr.edu
